Pawpaw ginger sauce Directions
3 cups chopped pawpaw Â½ cup sugar Â½ cup water Â¼ cup lemon juice 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
Combine sugar and water in pan, bring to the boil, reduce heat, add pawpaw, simmer 10 minutes, or until pawpaw is soft, add lemon juice and ginger; cool. Blend or process until smooth; refrigerate before serving.
Makes about 2 cups.
